光电复合缆包括4根HDTV摄像机供电用的电源线（20AWG）2根信号控制线（24AWG）和2根用于视频和音频传输的单模光纤，此种复合缆中芯贯串一根1.8mm高强度钢丝，整体编织网屏障，这种设计将包管结构的完整性，同时坚持优异的绕性，从而可以延伸电缆的使用寿命 。此种复合缆即可以用于毗连室外作业实况转播的差别摄像机，也可被用于把演播室摄像机毗连的控制室的牢靠装置中 。
